First Steps/Next Steps/Stronger Steps
The Beginner Running Clinic will introduce new runners to the basics of running through a walk/run program. The group is split into the ‘first steps’, ‘next steps’ and ‘stronger steps’ groups with each group catering to a different level of beginner. Stronger Steps available at Victoria location only.
First Steps introduces participants to a very gradual walk/run program. This is geared for participants who have never run or have not run for a few years.
Next Steps is a continuation of First Steps and builds on the walk/run program. Geared for those who have completed First Steps or have a little running background.
Next Steps is for those looking to run 5k and 10k quicker. Should be able to run for 30mins comfortably. Introduces participants to workouts: hills, speed training, intervals, etc.
Victoria & Langford locations: Thursdays, Sept 20th – Nov 29th, 6:00pm – 7:00pm
Shelbourne location: Tuesdays, Sept 25th – Nov 27th, 6:00pm – 7:00pm
