EVENT SPONSORSHIP

Goodlife Fitness Victoria Marathon

The marathon had modest beginnings in 1980 with 700 participants supported by a small group of enthusiastic volunteers. Thirty-six years later the race has now become a festival event that has grown in prestige, stature and popularity to attract over 10,000 competitors from all over the world. We are proud to be a continuing supporter of over 20 charities including our four official charities: KidSport, Raise a Reader, GoodLife Kids Foundation and the Kilee Patchell-Evans Autism Research Group. In addition we support our Charity Pledge Program (CPP). Since 2005, the CPP has raised over $1 million for people within this community.

Bear Mountain 10K

The 10k course has earned the notoriety as “Canada’s Most Challenging 10k” because of three distinct hills on the course, which have been named Papa Bear, Mama Bear and Baby Bear, as well as the many rolling hills throughout the rest of the run. Participants will also run across bridges, past a waterfall and at one point go through a 30m long tunnel before finishing next to the fountain in front of the Westin Bear Mountain. heads down for nearly 1 mile into the gently rolling valley for 5-6km’s. You’ll want to recover your legs on this section as you now have to head back out of the Valley with one of the longest climbs of the day. Once you are out of the valley you will do a short loop through the village and then you’ll hear the energy of the finish line DJ and race announcer and you’re there!

We support the Goddess Run event

VICTORIA GODDESS RUN

The Victoria Goddess Run is an opportunity for women to come together to celebrate the power that we can embrace when we work together to reach our goals.

Every registration to this event means that we can help our 3 charities to do their amazing and much needed work in our community.  Support us, and we will support those who are making our community a better place to live.

In our first 4 years we have raised over $150,000 for our charity partners. Our Goddess Committee, who work very hard on this event, are extremely proud of this accomplishment and thank our amazing Goddesses for making this happen. Can we hit a grand total of $200,000 for our 5th year anniversary? Absolutely!
